Beautiful post as always, Skye. Sometimes I feel like I don’t belong anywhere, but then again, who hasn’t? I wish I could eternally belong to something, just like the moon will always belong to the sky, and wishes to the stars.
I treasure my solitude dearly, yet I have felt so lonely in moments of Not Belonging. Perhaps the feeling is merely an awareness of contrasting worlds: One’s World and Their World. Sometimes, one is more populated than the other. xo
Can anyone really belong anywhere?
Did you take the pictures or are they from a movie? They are so lovely.
And yes, I often feel the same. Sometimes I wonder if this was really the world I was meant for. I always feel so out of place. It’s why I prefer to spend my time in daydreams.
Someday we’ll find the place we belong.
Skye! I have missed your posts ever so much!
These stills are beautiful, I must watch the film soon. It has been so long, I am so glad to see your posts again.
stay warm. x
I often feel the same way, but I don’t always feel bad about it. The only problem is when I start to feel this not belonging too often, because that’s when it starts to feel lonley.
These stills are lovely, I hope I can find this filme.
what a lovely post! I’m happy to see your writing more again, I love the way you see the world, skye
Hope one day you make writing (and dare I say) publishing a book a reality.
I wish you all the best and endless inspiration
what a heartbreaking thought from someone so beautiful xx
I’ve found that I’ll never belong in any place, but perhaps I’ll have people I belong with someday. I hope you’ll find that sort of “place”, too.
Also, I think I’ll watch this film once I have the chance; The Snow Queen is one of my favourite fairy-tales. xo
That’s why I like to create a world that I can belong. The powers of the imagination…
you have a really nice blog, what an amazing pictures… love it…
