how odd – I had a dream about you last night. you were oh-so-sad. I guess I knew a post was coming soon.
it looks lovely there. I looked at sabrina’s pictures also, and I hope that you’re happy. I worry for you sometimes.
Oh, I am so sorry to be invading your dreams, Michelle, and making you fret. I have been feeling a bit wing-clipped of late, but all will be well, it’s spring in seven days time. Thank you for caring so.
The set looks lovely, as do you! Is that a dress you made from the patterns you bought a while ago? It’s very cute, along with your little boater hat :)
Thank you Jessica. No, I didn’t make this one, I’ve been horribly slothful when it comes to sewing but I have made some crochet scarves from that very book. Take care. x
Oh what a lovely, lovely dress!
How nice it must be to feel the first sunbeams again, the beginning of spring is one of my favourite times of the year.

Oh Vera, the freesias are blooming already and I wish I could send you their scent. It is my most favourite time, although tinged with sadness at the thought of saying goodbye to winter. xxx
THese photos are absolutely stunning. I have the urge to jump into them and enjoy that lovely sun. Especially since where I am the sun has been chased away by grey monsterous clouds :(
I love stopping by your blog it feels me with such joy and inspiration!
This is just magical, I love exploring in the forests. This looks like a time of pure magic, the light is breathtaking. And the way you managed to freeze time and keep it this beautiful forever is just spectacular. You are lovely.
To tell you a secret, this is the smallest patch of forest imaginable, and it’s in the heart of the city, but I love it all the same. Thank you for your beautiful words, they are lovelier still.
Oh, my; how breathless your beauty has left me. The first is my favourite, favourite. Like sea-canvas, beguiling a slow sunset, it is. A word envisages the beauty of the subject; I believe it to be consorting with words associated with veristic. So terrifyingly truthful, often a golden expose’ of life; often, though, not. Anyhow, depiction here is what is golden.

Oh goodness gracious, i love your pictures, their breathtaking, i love your dress, but, may i ask, where did you get your lovely straw hat? its quite lovely, indeed.
Dear Miss. Abigail, the hat has a rather dull history I’m afraid. It came from a department store. I have a lovelier vintage one but it doesn’t fit so well.
Oh? I like to think that whether you buy clothes at a department store, or a lovely shop outside of town, you can find many beautiful pieces, i live in an area where not many shops have lovely clothes like you have, but i try to use my imagination, and try out different pieces of clothing to make look lovely, but if i have to wear clothes that are not exactly what i am looking for, i can imagine i’m wearing something lovely. it is the person who is truly lovely, not the pieces of clothing she wears. don’t you agree?

This is so beautiful! The way the sun shines off everything giving the pictures an airy feeling, it really touches my heart. Great work!
Thank you so much dear one. I love the light air too, it makes the little insects and dust motes glow.
Oh, Skye. Send me a few golden sunbeams as well, these here are bone white. You look precious. xxx
I will send you as many as I can spare, dear Eliza, ours are honey coloured and taste of the east wind. xxx

I read somewhere that photography is like writing with the language of light. I wish I had the full quote, it was so pretty. Thank you. x

Olivia, your words describe the light better than my pictures ever could. There is a little Midas in each and every one of us. xxx
Your sunbeams are marvellous. Your dress is so lovely and looks very comfortable! I like the touch of ribbon in your hair as well. Beautifully done!
It is wonderfully comfortable and thank you for noticing the ribbon, you have owl eyes my dear.
Oh, I’ve just discovered your blog and I am enchanted by your magic.

It is so lovely to hear from someone from the nearest outpost of civilisation. Hullo there, and thank you. xxx

How very lovely…I adore your long hair and the dress, and the beautiful lazy golden light in your images.
The sunset here is rather lazy, we never really have a twilight though, it just goes plop below the ocean waves.
p.s. I am a little bit addicted to Darjeeling.
You are such an ethereal creature, Skye, and your new dress is so lovely.
xxx
Thank you dove, sometimes I wish to be nothing but ether, don’t we all at times? White dresses shall have to do. xxx
