Seventeen hours in cloud land, then on to yesterday. I doze through the daylight with stories whispered in my ears and then, only then, does the journey begin. Read. The chapter opens with one Lost Princess, looking for ancient kingdoms revealed to her twelve year old self in the stained pages of second hand books. Following crumpled maps from Radnor Mere to Kanchenjunga and over Paradise Hill to the bay where the evening primroses grow. Two miles for each page, she walks through a land made of books, a kingdom dressed in stories, but will she find her inkworld? Her heart is made of words, words and ink, afterall.
I will be back in a month, dearhearts.

oh, i hope your trip is wonderful! i hope you’ll share stories about it when you get back ♥
Thank you so much, I have so many stories to share I’m not sure where to begin.
What a beautiful description of a magical place! I’ve spent the last several months in England myself, though unfortunately my trip is going to end in a few days. I’m glad I got to read this post before I left, as England feels more special now, and I can spend the next few days seeing this kingdom in a whole new way. I can’t wait to read about your own trip and see your pictures. I really hope you have a wonderful and magical time, Princess!
Oh, you are so lucky, I wish I could have spent a few more months there. Leaving is hard isn’t it?
You always make me fall in love with your words. :D Have a wonderful trip and I can’t wait to see what you have to share with us when you come back.
Thank you sweet one, I have so much to share it’s hard to begin, but expect many photos soon.
Safe travels! Hope you have wonderful adventures and a splendid time. I will look forward to reading all about it when you return.

England is a fairytale kingdom, I am quite convinced of that now. Thank you!

Will you go back again soon? I miss it already and I just got back. Your blog is lovely, by the way.
p.s. your tags for this post–peter pan, swallows and amazons, pooh, prydain, harry potter, moonacre! yes, yes, this is just the way I feel about England too.
I have photos of all these places to share with you soon, although I’m sure you must have seen some for yourself.

I missed you all very much. I can’t wait to share all my adventures with you. xxx
Have a fabulous trip princess!
Thank you! It was wonderful.
Ahhh if only…
I live in England so I’ve grown up with all of those wonderful stories. I’d give anything to be a student at hogwarts or visit Lyra or even fly past Big Ben with Peter Pan… I hope you have a lovely trip, England is full of magic when you look hard enough x
You are so lucky, having grown up in a land where the stories are spoken in a different language and it is hard to even imagine these places because you’ve never seen acorns or castles makes England seem like Eden.
oh please do tell me where abouts in England you are going!! x
It was lovely meeting up with you! I hope to come back again soon. xxx
I’m a Sydney-sider living in England at the moment, and it’s an incredible country. Everything is so old, it’s fantastic for an Australian :) Enjoy your trip! xo
Yes, I know just how you feel. I nearly cried when I walked in to the British museum because suddenly the world wasn’t just 200 years old.
You have no idea how lovely it is to know that you have returned to all of us here. I feared you would never return to the Lost Princess. The month will drag until you return! Have fun and bring back memories!!
Oh, I’m so sorry for not posting more. I was terribly busy and stressed preparing for my trip. I have months worth of photos for you now though.
I spent a month in England when I was a junior in highschool, and it changed my life. The first time I’d been on a plane (seriously!), the first time I’d felt truly independent, the first time I’d realized that anything was possible, and that dreams can come true. Have a marvelous trip!
It really was incredible stepping on to English soil for the first time, I felt just as you say, that dreams can come true.
I also saw some Pre-Raphaelite paintings in the Ashmolean Museum gallery and thought of you.
That was so lovely. ah… I could just picture every thing so well. Your writing is so vivid and lush, and your imigary is amazing! I love it! I missed your posts so much. Hope you are doing well, and I hope you have a wonderful time in England! And I can’t wait till the next update. ^_^ Sincerly Cheryl~
You are the sweetest, kindest soul to say such nice things. England was everything I hoped it would be and more. Posts soon, I promise.

Thank you, thank you! I can honestly say I enjoyed nearly every moment of it.
We’ll all miss you so much!!

Oh, thank you! Your blog is lovely by the way, I really enjoyed your adventures!
you’ve made my home country feel a very magical and inspired place to be, although i’m sure its your words which are the magical and inspring ones.. as always ♥
Oh, but England is a magical place. I can’t imagine anyone not loving it there. I wish I could call it home as well.
It’s quite strange because you write in such a delicate, whimsical way so before this post I assumed that you were English x
I grew up reading English books and watching BBC shows so I like to think at least that has influenced me. It is sweet of you to say so x
