The pictures are absolutely beautiful. I have no idea where I should look for this movie, but it seems pretty interesting. I too get upset when people destroy nature. There is a big, unfinished building in my city that we pass quite often. The people building it didn’t have enough money to finish, so they abandoned it. It’s huge, and it’s starting to rust. It makes me angry every time I see it.

Hello there,
I got to watch this film earlier this week (there’s now an English language DVD with subtitles available via America) and found it fascinating, a modern day fairytale with such beautiful images. I can see why you empathise with Mai, and why you love the beautiful world she shares with Granny.

Incidentally, I don’t think you should ever question that you are special or unique or important, nor should you feel guilty for any way you think or feel, no matter what others think or if they blame you for it. Deep down, you know you’re exactly who you are, and why you’re extraordinary.
