I want the last two… especially the Evenstar pendant is something I want so much to have…

They make pretty replicas of the last two, you are lucky. It is the first two I want most of all.

You can buy the Evenstar on Warner Bros official website… That’s where I got mine for $95.00. It’s made by The Noble Collection that made the jewelry for LOTR but for some reason it’s cheaper by WB than it is at The Noble Collection’s website… I think it’s almost $200.00 at The Noble Collection’s site.

    They are all so beautiful!!
I want all of them especially the uroboros one!B.T.W. is the pic from “never ending story”?
    I love that book!

    • Skylark said:

It is from the movie version, I think the Auryn in the book was a true ouroboros, with just one snake.

      • Mars said:

yeah :) I meant the movie xD

AURYN in the book is two snakes, a dark one and a light one, eating each other’s tails. They’re not all intertwined like the movie version, though; just a regular circle. (I just finished reading it yesterday.)

Wah! I saw the last one a few days ago. Those kind of replicas are well made.

By the way, where is the first one from?

    • Skylark said:

The first one is Lili’s ring from the movie Legend. It has two halves, a black moon and white sun, just like Lili.

The Time Turner & the Evenstar! Both SUCH great props in more than amazing movies! =D

Aren’t they just? I wish they would make replicas from older films too though.

  5. You have an imaginative list! I only have a few clothing items in mine :S Goes to show how far I still have to go with revisiting the fantasy world.

I do display the Brisby Stone from the Secret of NIMH, however. I’ve been wanting that sparkly for-ever!!

    • Skylark said:

Oh, I haven’t seen that film in years. Thank you for reminding me of it.

In that case, you might enjoy this web site dedicated to the story and film, with links to other fan sites: http://www.thornvalley.com/

I still have the remaining press-out paper figures of Mrs. Brisby and Theresa somewhere in my closet. When I find them, I will scan them to share.

        Enjoy the sites!

It took a bit to realize the pendant in the 3rd picture. I would very much like to have either of the first two. Might have to sit down and figure out how to make them without access to a precious metals shop. Thanks for the inspiration.

The second pendant, ouroboros, could be made with polymer clay – it’s very easy to use. Good luck!

    • Skylark said:

I think the ring is the one I want most, but it would be the hardest to make. Good luck!

I love the time turner! They are all beautiful.

how beautiful & magical they all are … i so love the Evenstar.

    Ah, the Time Turner.

It wasn’t how i imagined it would look, but i think i liked it better this way than how i imagined anyway. Once i saw it like that it seemed to make more sense.

You have wonderful timing, by the way. i just started writing a list of all the books i want to read and re-read this year, and i left gaps here and there, waiting for the right books to cross my mind. The Neverending Story, i think, is going to fill one of them. It’s been years since i read it last. i’m actually quite excited at the thought of reading it again, now.

    Thank you!

It doesn’t look as I imagined either, but I think it’s prettier.

I would love to see the rest of your list. Also if you like Michael Ende, read ‘Momo’.

I would love the time turner! I’ve seen the replica on the Noble Collections site and it looks amazing. :D

I want one so much! I could play with it for hours, I’m sure. (pun unintended)

  11. My husband and I went as Atreyu and the Childlike Empress a few years ago for Halloween and I made him the Auryn out of sculpty. I was rather pleased with how it came out. I wish the Noble Collection would come out with a line of jewelry from 80′s fantasy movies.

    • Skylark said:

Oh, that is so sweet. I bet you made a beautiful Empress. I wish they would too.

I love them all! I bought a Time Turner when I was in London, but it’s not so well-made…
When I was a child a had a ring similar to Mia’s from Legend :)

  13. I love, love the Evenstar. I received it as a birthday present from my parents years and years ago, but stopped wearing it when a jewel fell out. It now sits in my jewelry box, which is such a shame. I should look into replacing the jewel.

& I would love to have a Time Turner. xx

“Die Unendliche Geschichte” (The Neverending Story) is one of the few books I can safely call my favourite ones.
