One, two

Maman is back. We picked her up yesterday with a big bunch of yellow daisies to apologise for the weather. This morning I saw an owl, she was up late, silently winging home like an errant ghost. I was in the burnt woods. A fire went through here a year ago and the green is only starting to come back. There are broken bits of wall and piping. Its a good place to play.

It’s so beautiful that there was a fire only a year ago, but the forest fought the destruction and is slowly rebuilding itself again. It forgave. (Of course you are beautiful, too, especially in that dress, and oh, the shoes!)

I wish the forest was closer to my house, I’d go there everyday.

PS: Is it OK if I link to you on my blog?

It was really lovely watching the grass come up for the first time after the rain. Its not a real forest though, just a little bit of woodland on the edge of the swamp.

Oh, that would be lovely thank you.

      Thank you sweetie <3

I haven’t seen an owl in ages either, it was so beautiful, I think it was a barn owl but I wasn’t close enough to see.

The woods are kind of eerie, dark, but beautiful at the same time.

Thank you, I was inspired by Winnie Forster and the Cottingley girls.

They do have that eerie beauty.
